About the Role
The Field Product Support Technician for JACON Equipment will be primarily responsible for supporting machinery across mining locations within the client’s site in Mimika, Indonesia. This role is offered as a Fly-In/Fly-Out arrangement on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster and is open to expatriate applicants.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and enforce client Safety / NOSA standards.
• Commissioning of new machinery as required.
• Maintain suitable records including weekly reports and action plans.
• Test, modify, adjust and install components on JACON equipment.
• Fault find, repair, replace and provide technical advice while maintaining formal records.
• Process, investigate and track warranty claims.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and tasks directed by client management.
• Assist in developing the national workforce through training.

Experience & Attributes
Essential:
•    â€¢ Previous experience as a Mechanical / Diesel Fitter or Auto Electrician.
•    â€¢ Certificate III Mechanical or Certificate III Electrical (or equivalent).
•    â€¢ Minimum 7 years' experience with heavy equipment.
•    â€¢ Minimum 3 years' experience in mining.
•    â€¢ Extensive equipment maintenance experience with OEM training.
•    â€¢ Industry experience in Mining, Infrastructure, or Manufacturing.
•    â€¢ Fluent in English and willingness to learn Bahasa Indonesia.
•    â€¢ Strong customer focus and commitment to safety.

Desirable:
•    â€¢ Advanced experience in Failure Analysis.
•    â€¢ Advanced experience in Equipment Maintenance.
•    â€¢ Advanced experience in Predictive Maintenance.
•    â€¢ Experience with CAN bus systems.
•    â€¢ Strong computer literacy (email, file management, MS Office).
